Swimming Pool Maintenance Contract

This contract is made between ______________________________________ (hereafter known as "The Client") and Abra Cadabra Pool Service & Repair (herafter known as "The Company"). The Client desires to have a swimming pool, located at ________________________________________________________________, maintained on a weekly basis and repaired as necessary. Therefore, the parties hereby agree as follows:

General Agreement

1. Service shall begin on ________________________, and continue indefinitely.

2. 30 days written notice is required to cancel this contract without penalty.

 

Company Responsibilities

1. The Company shall complete the following on a weekly basis (1 visit per week, except for the weeks of Thanksgiving and Christmas) :

_____ Chemical Only Service, to include the following:

  • Test and record water chemistry. (Weekly test free chlorine, ph and total alkalinity, semi-annual test includes calcium hardness, total dissolved solids, and cyanuric acid levels, which will determine if the pool will need to be drained) Other tests, such as phosphate, are done as needed.
  • Check and record filter pressure.
  • Add basic chemicals as needed.
    (Basic chemicals are limited to: Chlorine tablets, shock, or liquid as needed, muriatic acid, soda ash, sodium bicarbonate, and clarifier)

______ Basic Weekly Service. Includes all of the above, plus the following:

  • Skim/net all debris.
  • Brush walls, steps, and benches as needed.
  • Empty all strainer baskets.
  • Backwash as needed. (Includes recharging de)
  • Clean salt cell as needed.
  • Check equipment for leaks and proper operation.
  • Adjust timer(s) according to season.
  • Clean and lubricate lid seals, backwash valve seals, and jandy valve seals as needed.

______ Premium Weekly Service. Includes all of the above, plus the following:

  • Filter cleaning (as needed)
  • Replacement baskets and chlorine floaters
  • Replacement seals for lids and valves.

2. The Company shall complete any additional maintenance or repair that may be necessary for the normal operation of the swimming pool (hereafter known as "ad hoc" work), whose cost is less than $50.

3. The Company shall immediately notify The Client of any ad hoc work whose cost will exceed $50, to obtain authorization prior to completion.

 

Client Responsibilities


1. Client shall grant The Company accesss to the swimming pool and equipment during regular business hours and other mutually agreeable times.

2. Client shall pay The Company $ _________ on the 1st day of each month for regular maintenance services to be performed during that month.

3. Client shall pay The Company for any additional maintenance or repair that may be necessary for the normal operation of the swimming pool (hereafter known as "ad hoc work") The Company shall bill Client for the cost of such work, and Client shall include payment with Client's next regular payment.

4. Ad hoc work whose cost is less than $50 may be performed by The Company without Client's explicit authorization. Work whose cost will exceed $50 shall be authorized by Client before it is performed.

6. The Company shall begin performing regular maintenance on ___________________________. Thereafter, regular maintenance shall be performed on a schedule to which both parties agree.
